Bug fixes

Zowe Version 3.3.1 contains the bug fixes that are described in the following topics.

Zowe installation and packaging

  • Added scheme information to the z/OSMF static definition. If connections to z/OSMF do not follow AT-TLS rules, AT-TLS uses the scheme information to establish connections and can then operate in hybrid scenarios. #4512

Zowe Application Framework

Zowe API Mediation Layer

  • Encoded slashes in redirect header are now accepted. (#4328)
  • Introduced the OIDC redirectUri default in java code to prevent a startup error. (#4329)
  • Missing properties have been introduced to properly handle scenarios in which z/OSMF is configured to use https or http schemes even when AT-TLS is enabled at the Zowe level. This fix creates a z/OSMF static definition for AT-TLS. (#4327)
  • Implemented a Custom Disk Health Configuration to work properly on zOS. (#4268, (#4269)

Zowe CLI

Zowe CLI (Core)

  • Updated minimum supported version of Node from 18 to 20. Added Node 24 support. (#2616)
  • Updated the daemon binary to use maintained dependencies. (#2600)

Zowe CLI Imperative Framework

  • Updated minimum supported version of Node from 18 to 20. Added Node 24 support. (#2616)
  • Fixed an issue where carriage returns before new lines were unexpectedly preserved when uploading to a USS file or data set. (#2606)
  • Updated the Imperative Framework to add the value in the set-cookie response header to the _availableCreds property in the ISession object. (#2605)
  • Censored base64 credential information from the appendInputHeaders function's trace log in the AbstractRestClient when the Authorization header is set. (#2598)
  • Stopped logging the token into the trace log when using cookie based token authentication in the AbstractRestClient. (#2598)

DB2 Plug-in for Zowe CLI

  • Updated minimum supported version of Node from 18 to 20. Added Node 24 support. (#189)
    Caution

Introduces unavoidable breaking changes to the DB2 plug-in APIs as a result of breaking type changes in the underlying ibm_db component.

    • Changed the DB2Constants class's FETCH_MODE_OBJECT and FETCH_MODE_ARRAY types to match those used by ibm_db.
    • Defaulted the optional IDB2Parameter.ParamType property to INPUT if the property is not defined.
    • Changed the IDB2Column interface into a type.
  • Updated the tar-fs dependency for technical currency. (#191)
  • Updated the axios dependency for technical currency. (#187)
